2 И призвали7121 Филистимляне6430 жрецов3548 и прорицателей,7080 и сказали:559 что нам делать6213 с ковчегом727 Господним?3068 научите3045 нас, как нам отпустить7971 его в свое место.4725

3 Те сказали:559 если вы хотите отпустить7971 ковчег727 Бога430 Израилева,3478 то не отпускайте7971 его ни7387 с7387 чем,7387 но принесите7725 Ему жертву817 повинности;817 тогда исцелитесь7495 и узнаете,3045 за что не отступает5493 от вас рука3027 Его.

4 И сказали559 они: какую жертву817 повинности817 должны мы принести7725 Ему? Те сказали:559 по числу4557 владетелей5633 Филистимских6430 пять2568 наростов29146076 золотых2091 и пять2568 мышей5909 золотых;2091 ибо казнь4046 одна259 на всех вас и на владетелях5633 ваших;

5 итак сделайте6213 изваяния6754 наростов29146076 ваших и изваяния6754 мышей5909 ваших, опустошающих7843 землю,776 и воздайте5414 славу3519 Богу430 Израилеву;3478 может быть, Он облегчит7043 руку3027 Свою над вами и над богами430 вашими и над землею776 вашею;

6 и для чего вам ожесточать3513 сердце3824 ваше, как ожесточили3513 сердце3820 свое Египтяне4714 и фараон?6547 вот, когда Господь показал5953 силу5953 Свою над ними, то они отпустили7971 их, и те пошли;3212

7 итак возьмите, сделайте6213 одну259 колесницу5699 новую2319 и возьмите3947 двух8147 первородивших5763 коров,6510 на которых не было5927 ярма,5923 и впрягите631 коров6510 в колесницу,5699 а телят1121 их отведите7725 от310 них домой;1004

8 и возьмите3947 ковчег727 Господень,3068 и поставьте5414 его на колесницу,5699 а золотые2091 вещи,3627 которые принесете7725 Ему в жертву817 повинности,817 положите7760 в ящик712 сбоку6654 его; и отпустите7971 его, и пусть пойдет;1980

9 и смотрите,7200 если он пойдет5927 к пределам1366 своим, к Вефсамису,1053 то он великое1419 сие зло7451 сделал6213 нам; если же нет, то мы будем знать,3045 что не его рука3027 поразила5060 нас, а сделалось1961 это с нами случайно.4745

10 И сделали6213 они так: и взяли3947 двух8147 первородивших5763 коров6510 и впрягли631 их в колесницу,5699 а телят1121 их удержали3607 дома;1004

11 и поставили7760 ковчег727 Господа3068 на колесницу5699 и ящик712 с золотыми2091 мышами5909 и изваяниями6754 наростов.2914

12 И пошли3474 коровы6510 прямо3474 на дорогу1870 к Вефсамису;1053 одною259 дорогою4546 шли,1980 шли1980 и мычали,1600 но не уклонялись5493 ни направо,3225 ни налево;8040 владетели5633 же Филистимские6430 следовали1980 за310 ними до пределов1366 Вефсамиса.1053

13 Жители Вефсамиса1053 жали7114 тогда пшеницу2406 в долине,6010 и взглянув53755869 увидели7200 ковчег727 Господень, и обрадовались,8055 что увидели7200 его.

14 Колесница5699 же пришла935 на поле7704 Иисуса3091 Вефсамитянина1030 и остановилась5975 там; и был тут большой1419 камень,68 и раскололи1234 колесницу5699 на дрова,6086 а коров6510 принесли5927 во всесожжение5930 Господу.3068

15 Левиты3881 сняли3381 ковчег727 Господа3068 и ящик,712 бывший при нем, в котором были золотые2091 вещи,3627 и поставили7760 на большом1419 том камне;68 жители582 же Вефсамиса1053 принесли5927 в тот день3117 всесожжения5930 и закололи2076 жертвы2077 Господу.3068

16 И пять2568 владетелей5633 Филистимских6430 видели7200 это и возвратились7725 в тот день6138 в Аккарон.6138

17 Золотые2091 эти наросты,2914 которые принесли7725 Филистимляне6430 в жертву817 повинности817 Господу,3068 были: один259 за Азот,795 один259 за Газу,5804 один259 за Аскалон,831 один259 за Геф,1661 один259 за Аккарон;6138

18 а золотые2091 мыши5909 были по числу4557 всех городов5892 Филистимских6430 — пяти2568 владетелей,5633 от городов5892 укрепленных4013 и до открытых6521 сел,3724 до большого1419 камня,59 на котором поставили3240 ковчег727 Господа3068 и который находится до сего дня3117 на поле7704 Иисуса3091 Вефсамитянина.1030

19 И поразил5221 Он жителей376 Вефсамиса1053 за то, что они заглядывали7200 в ковчег727 Господа,3068 и убил5221 из народа5971 пятьдесят2572 тысяч505 семьдесят7657 человек;582 и заплакал56 народ,5971 ибо поразил5221 Господь3068 народ5971 поражением4347 великим.1419

20 И сказали559 жители582 Вефсамиса:1053 кто может3201 стоять5975 пред3942 Господом,3068 сим святым6918 Богом?430 и к кому Он пойдет5927 от нас?

21 И послали7971 послов4397 к жителям3427 Кириаф-Иарима7157 сказать:559 Филистимляне6430 возвратили7725 ковчег727 Господа;3068 придите,3381 возьмите5927 его к себе.

1 Samuel

Chapter 6

1 AND the ark of the LORD was in the country of the Philistines seven months.

2 And the Philistines called for the priests and the lords, saying, What shall we do with the ark of the LORD? Tell us by what means shall we send it to its place.

3 And they said, If you send away the ark of the LORD God of Israel, do not send it away empty; but you must surely bring trespass offerings to it; then you shall be healed, and it shall be known to you why his hand is not removed from you.

4 And they said, What sort of offerings shall we bring to it? They answered, Five golden boils and five golden mice, according to the number of the lords of the Philistines; for one plague was upon you all and upon your lords.

5 Wherefore you shall make likenesses of your boils and images of the mice that are destroying the land; and you shall give glory to the God of Israel; perhaps he will remove his hand from you and from your god and from your land.

6 And you shall not harden your hearts, as the Egyptians and Pharaoh hardened their hearts, and as they mocked the Israelites and did not send them nor let them go.

7 Now therefore make a new cart, and take two milch cows upon which there has come no yoke, and tie the cows to the cart, and bring their calves home from them;

8 And take the ark of the LORD, and lay it upon the cart; and put the vessels of gold which you have brought for it as offerings, in a box by its side; and send it away, that it may go on its way.

9 And watch, for if it goes up by the way of the border which goes up to Beth-shemesh, then it is the LORD who has done us this great evil; but if not, then we shall know that it is not his hand that afflicted us, but it has happened to us by chance.

10 And the men did so; and took two milch cows and tied them to the cart and shut up their calves at home;

11 And they laid the ark of God upon the cart, and the box with the mice of gold and the images of their boils.

12 And they sent out the cows by the way which is by the border of Beth-shemesh, and they went along the highway, lowing as they went, and turned not aside to the right hand nor to the left; and the lords of the Philistines went after them as far as the border of Beth-shemesh.

13 And the men of the town of Beth-shemesh were reaping their wheat harvest in the valley; and they lifted up their eyes and saw the ark, and rejoiced when they saw it.

14 And the cart came into the field of Joshua, a Beth-shemeshite, and stopped where there was a great stone; and they split the wood of the cart, and offered the cows as a burnt offering to the LORD.

15 And the Levites took down the ark of the LORD and the box that was with it in which were the vessels of gold, and put them on the great stone; and the men of Beth-shemesh offered burnt offerings and sacrifices on that day to the LORD.

16 And when the five lords of the Philistines had seen it, they returned to Ekron the same day.

17 And these are the golden boils which the Philistines had brought as offerings to God: for Ashdod one, for Gaza one, for Ashkelon one, for Gath one, for Ekron one;

18 And the golden mice, according to the number of all the cities of the Philistines, belonging to the five lords, both of the five fortified cities and of the country villages of the Perrizites, and as far as the great stone of Abel, whereon they set down the ark of the LORD, which to this day is in the field of Joshua, the Beth-shemeshite.

19 And the LORD smote the men of Beth-shemesh because they worshipped the ark of the LORD, and the LORD smote five thousand and seventy men of the people; and the people mourned because the LORD had smitten many of the people with a great slaughter.

20 And the men of Beth-shemesh said, Who is able to stand before this holy LORD God? And who shall carry up from us the ark?

21 So they sent messengers to the inhabitants of Koriath-narin, saying, The Philistines have brought back the ark of the LORD; come down and take it up to you.

4 And they said, What sort of offerings shall we bring to it? They answered, Five golden boils and five golden mice, according to the number of the lords of the Philistines; for one plague was upon you all and upon your lords.

5 Wherefore you shall make likenesses of your boils and images of the mice that are destroying the land; and you shall give glory to the God of Israel; perhaps he will remove his hand from you and from your god and from your land.

6 и для чего вам ожесточать3513 сердце3824 ваше, как ожесточили3513 сердце3820 свое Египтяне4714 и фараон?6547 вот, когда Господь показал5953 силу5953 Свою над ними, то они отпустили7971 их, и те пошли;3212

6 And you shall not harden your hearts, as the Egyptians and Pharaoh hardened their hearts, and as they mocked the Israelites and did not send them nor let them go.

7 Now therefore make a new cart, and take two milch cows upon which there has come no yoke, and tie the cows to the cart, and bring their calves home from them;

8 And take the ark of the LORD, and lay it upon the cart; and put the vessels of gold which you have brought for it as offerings, in a box by its side; and send it away, that it may go on its way.

9 и смотрите,7200 если он пойдет5927 к пределам1366 своим, к Вефсамису,1053 то он великое1419 сие зло7451 сделал6213 нам; если же нет, то мы будем знать,3045 что не его рука3027 поразила5060 нас, а сделалось1961 это с нами случайно.4745

9 And watch, for if it goes up by the way of the border which goes up to Beth-shemesh, then it is the LORD who has done us this great evil; but if not, then we shall know that it is not his hand that afflicted us, but it has happened to us by chance.

10 И сделали6213 они так: и взяли3947 двух8147 первородивших5763 коров6510 и впрягли631 их в колесницу,5699 а телят1121 их удержали3607 дома;1004

10 And the men did so; and took two milch cows and tied them to the cart and shut up their calves at home;

11 и поставили7760 ковчег727 Господа3068 на колесницу5699 и ящик712 с золотыми2091 мышами5909 и изваяниями6754 наростов.2914

11 And they laid the ark of God upon the cart, and the box with the mice of gold and the images of their boils.

13 And the men of the town of Beth-shemesh were reaping their wheat harvest in the valley; and they lifted up their eyes and saw the ark, and rejoiced when they saw it.

14 And the cart came into the field of Joshua, a Beth-shemeshite, and stopped where there was a great stone; and they split the wood of the cart, and offered the cows as a burnt offering to the LORD.

15 And the Levites took down the ark of the LORD and the box that was with it in which were the vessels of gold, and put them on the great stone; and the men of Beth-shemesh offered burnt offerings and sacrifices on that day to the LORD.

16 And when the five lords of the Philistines had seen it, they returned to Ekron the same day.

18 And the golden mice, according to the number of all the cities of the Philistines, belonging to the five lords, both of the five fortified cities and of the country villages of the Perrizites, and as far as the great stone of Abel, whereon they set down the ark of the LORD, which to this day is in the field of Joshua, the Beth-shemeshite.

19 And the LORD smote the men of Beth-shemesh because they worshipped the ark of the LORD, and the LORD smote five thousand and seventy men of the people; and the people mourned because the LORD had smitten many of the people with a great slaughter.

20 And the men of Beth-shemesh said, Who is able to stand before this holy LORD God? And who shall carry up from us the ark?
